What if I don’t know what plan I need?
How long is an initial consultation?
Depending on the type of case, initial consultations can last anywhere from thirty minutes to two hours. If you only have a short period of time to meet with us, we will work with you to make sure we answer any and all questions you have and get you out of here on time. No matter how long or short your initial consultation is, it is always 100% free.
What happens at an initial consultation?
During an initial consultation, you have an opportunity to meet with Wade and the paralegal that will be working on your case. Our team will gather all information they need to begin working on your behalf and will go over the fee agreement with you. Wade will answer any questions you have about your situation and go over any worries you may have moving forward.
What type of fee agreements do you offer?
Two of the most common types of fee agreements in the legal field are contingent fee agreements and hourly fee agreements. Contingent fee agreements are only offered for personal injury cases and this type of agreement means that we only get paid if you get paid. Hourly fee agreements are most common in criminal cases and mean that we get a retainer (specified amount of money) at the initial consultation. We then put that money into a trust account and as we work on your case we send you an invoice outlining what work we have done throughout that month and pay that invoice from the balance of your retainer.
Does your office have parking on site?
Our office is located on Stuart Street, just South of West Colfax in Denver. We have plenty of free street parking right outside of our office and very limited parking in the back. If you are in need of a wheelchair accessible entrance, we suggest that you park in the back of the office so that you are able to use the ramp.
